Coastal Artillery
#1

Hi, apologies if this is not the right section for this.

I was wondering if it would be possible to create some coastal artillery by taking some of the turrets from ships and adding them to some of the larger bunkers?

At the moment I am subsuming ships with bunker objects which creates some strange shapes of course.

Any help/pointers appreciated.

i asked for this about a year ago, i tries making them in a similar way but found that from altitude you would see the ship on the coast before the objects where rendered and than when attacking, the buildings would get destroyed and all hell would break loose from the other guns on the ship. maybe some indestuctable objects to surround the ship would be nice....

Ive also asked for this and if you had made a search you would have seen that at least a couple of threads with me asking about the same and sudjestion how to make them but noone here is willing or wanting to as it seems they dont see the point having them in the game this even if they did have a major role in the war at ofcourse the coast.. but seems like most people in here live fare away from the coast and dont have a clue what it is!Wink

But we can always hope that someday someone would have a look into it!Smile
Until then have fun with the chickens and cows and usable war effects alike!Smile

Well they're v.important for the Normandy and BoB maps!

I was wondering if one could somehow 'remove' the turrets from a ships model and add them to a bunker model - preferably the largest bunker model with the emplacement on the top that is too high to add any arty to at the mo...
