Go into the Paintschemes/Regiments folder; you should see a load of files with no file extension, and a corresponding bitmap file for each. Copy and paste one and then open it with Notepad; edit to your liking and then save.

NOTE - make sure it still has no extension (e.g. RAF222 instead of RAF222.txt) or it won't work.

Will this allow you to select these newly created regiments when assigning units in the FMB?

If not how do you add regiments so you can choose them when creating missions in the FMB?

To enable them for both QMB and FMB you'll need to do something else as well. If you have McWolf's decals mod installed, look inside that directory. There should be a file called 'regiments.ini'; open this and add the names of yours in the appropriate position, e.g. 222 Sqn. with a filename of RAF222 would be listed in the .ini file as simply 'RAF222'.

If you don't have that mod installed, there's probably another way involving SFS files or something. I wouldn't know.
