I know the Devastator was This >< Close to getting in game officially until the Northrop Grumman issue came up.. has anyone ever put any work in to put one in game? The Avenger FM is pretty wonky and the TBD is so ugly its sexy

There is both a Devastator and vindicator skin for the B5N Kate. We use it for early war missions to replace the TBD.

Until someone models the TBD, it is not a bad substitute.

Keep practicing the TBF Avenger. It needs skill but is a good plane once you get the hang of it. One secret . . . do not over power on takeoff. Try 60-70% throttle. Another is trim . . . nose down, right rudder and ailerons.
