Looks graphics-card related, possibly overheating?

Sometimes I get a similar Problem (Radeon X1950Pro):

New drivers - check, overheating - check. No Problems there.

In another Forum I've read a post by someone who said this might be caused by corrupt data, either from the mod itself, or an old installation, which has been copied over several times, or both.

First happened when I used the mod-cockpits for the '109's.
After switching them off, the problem was gone.
Right now it seems to be the '190's mod-pits, but I'm not 100% certain.

I've had that same scenario before.

If I remember correctly it was drivers and or specific settings between the il2 setup settings and the graphics card settings.

Just for grinns he might uninstill his present drivers, delete any folders left over, run a driver cleaner, and then do a good defrag & then reinstall a different driver & see if it returns. If it does show up the same then he might start looking for a different video card as that one may well be overheating, but I really don't think that is the case...

be sure to shut down any antivirus or spybot type software while uninstall/reinstalling the drivers.

Tuneup utilities 2008 (do a google) has a free trial & does a good registry cleanery etc...
