F4U Landing Light Mod
This adds a landing light to the Corsairs in the game.
Installation:
Copy the F4U Landing Light folder into your Mods folder
When you run the game just hit your landing lights key to see your new landing lights.
To uninstall:
Delete the F4U Landing Light folder from your mods folder.
I have also added some skins that I think work very well with this mod.
Installation:
1: Copy the aircraft skins to your skins folder.
2: Copy the F4U_Droptanks folder into your Mods folder.
Now when you select the dark blue F4U skin, your drop tanks will match.
To deactivate the F4U_Droptanks, rename the F4U_Droptanks folder to...
-F4U_Droptanks
With the dark blue droptanks deactivated you will be able to see the stock droptanks again.

Great little fix Slikk!

Is the landing light just a light below the wing of the Sair or does the entire light housing move now like in the Wildcat?

For now, the landing light is just a light below the wing. I tried to get the light to move up and down like the F4F but so far, No Joy.

Maybe someone out there that knows how can animate this for me.

It is modeled on most skins, but in reality only the F4U-1, FG-1, F3A-1, and early production F4U- and F3A-1A's had the landing light. It was rarely used and was deleted on the production lines in the last half of 1943.
