Hello!


I need help, I downloaded the new 0.6 sound mod and now my Il-2 crahses at 60%. I downloaded this because my couldnt hear the engine sound of the Neptune but now my IL-2 wont open.




What can I do?

Did you download and installed wrapper?
Did you download and installled the latest Aircraftinstaller? (the one in the topic of the soundmod is 3.0 but there's a new one =3.8)

Ive got the wrapper and my AC Installer is 3.8. Unfortunatly I havent done a back up of my "files/samples" folder, and I belive I had already installed SFX 0.6 and something went wrong when I overwrote the hole thing beliving it would fix the Problem I had with the Neptune. But made things worse....




So if anyone out there is kind enough to help me out here I will be more than glad to hear youre sugestions.

I'm running 9.2 sound, no sound from Neptune. I have sound from rockets and dropped ordnance, but no engine sound. If you figure it out, let me know.

the only sensible suggestion you may get is this.....
start again with a new install of il2. unfortunately this i think will be the only way to go. with any new plane install, if you have a problem after install, just remove the plane and make a post in the thread where you got said plane. you may well find that others experience the same issues and will usually get an answer from the author for a fix.

I re installed AC Installer and IL-2 works fine.



But im still having trouble with the Neptune. Cannot hear its engine sounds, and all the other aircrafts engine sounds are ok.



Any suggestion?
