This map was made with 4.09b and UI1.1
this map requires the game pached to 4.09b1m
it will appear in your FMB as Ect_Northafrica

If you want this map as your default OnlineMT, so you can play old campaigns as that of Jg27 with this new desert,
go to:
IL-2 Sturmovik 1946/MODS/MAPMODS/Maps/sandsoftime
and rename Ect_load.ini in load.ini

For a MANUAL INSTALL:
after download, unzip installer with 7zip or similar in a temporary folder
copy "sandsoftime" folder in Il-2 Sturmovik 1946/MODS/MAPMODS/Maps
copy "Ectoflyer_desert" folder in Il-2 Sturmovik 1946/MODS/MAPMODS/Maps/_Tex
open all.ini file which is in Il-2 Sturmovik 1946/MODS/MAPMODS/Maps
and at the end of this file add the following line:
Ect_Northafrica SandsOfTime/Ect_load.ini

Hey I added this map and now I'm CTD at 70%. Any ideas....Need help I took the mod out and still CTD at 70%.....

I dont think that the map can cause this.
If not propherly installed it simply wont load neither in FMB nor in other game modes.

Shouldn't happen, however, desinstall it:
go to:
IL-2 Sturmovik 1946/MODS/MAPMODS/Maps
and delete "sandsoftime" folder
then open file all.ini , always present in IL2-Sturmovik 1946/MODS/MAPMODS/Maps
and delete this line :"Ect_Northafrica SandsOfTime/Ect_load.ini"
