I have made some skins but they are looking plastic planes




Like that.. so.
my question is how you guys how to make a very nice plane with details? like this? viewtopic.php?t=16899

Use layers, man
And don't forget the little details...

First Photoshop is required. Then a template. Then the rest you kinda learn by practice and with the mistakes u learn from doing one skin you'll find it easier to do the next skin etc... It's all a very complicated thing and really if you follow a set of guidelines such as having photoshop then having a template. Painting in layers, one for each diff colour or part. That's basically it, the little details you learn yourself, every1 has a different way of doing somethin.

Optional, not required. It is one option... and the others are GIMP and Paint.NET. Both freeware/OpenSource. (Paint.NET needs plugin to be able to work with PSD files)

Yea i am dutch you see that good you dutch to?

And i have Paint shop Pro XI that is a lot of better then photoshop photoshop is to dificult for beginners

Well yes photoshop is not neccessarily required but it is the most valuable tool for skinning purposes etc... and it is more commonly used than paint shop pro I think so if you ever need help there's much more on it. As with any program, play with it for a while and you'll get it. Could take me a week or two to make a skin when I started and they wouldn't even be good, I can do one in an hour or less now depending on what it is.
