So the readme instructions have no effect, or what does the buttons fix with these sounds? Signed: thoroughly confused.

JAMF , The current UI allocates Merlin sounds for the stangs not Packard Merlin ,Magpie said in another thread a while back that he would see if this could be rectified for the next buttons release.

not before I can identify some typical IL2 textures or so

Sorry just dont have the time at the mo , I do have compete set of Bristol Centaurus ready to go for the Fury as well as New jet sounds , New P@W R 3350's , Wright Cyclone's ect which will come next ....?

OK, cool. So we on UI won't notice the Packard-built Merlin sounds until the new buttons file switches the P-51 from Rolls-Royce Merlins to Packard's.
