Real colors from Spanish Polikarpov I-16 "Mosca"

Hi all,

I suppose this post can be useful for skin makers interested in Polikarpov I-16, concretely the Spanish ones.

Isaac Montoya, a Spanish Civil War archeologist, has investigated since 20 years ago, some places where various planes crashed after being shot down in the famous Battle of Ebro.

In some of them he found colour evidences, with various conervation status. One of them revealed some pieces of green fabric from an I-16 that were specially well protected, so other pieces of the plane were also almost intact.

So, he extracted the colour of the fabric with the help of Erik Pilawsky, an expert illustrator of SCW planes, and decided to release it for free use of modellers and skin makers.

So well, the colour is this:

So skinner's, it's yours. Just take care RGB values, and consider that the look of the colour can change a lot from one monitor to another.
