Alright, as soon as I was done shooting warbirds at Paine Field, I took a stroll a few miles to a local privately owned strip between Harvey Field in Snohomish and Firstair Field in Monroe. It actually belongs to a radio controlled airplane club, but the guy has two 1,000 foot runways so he can also hangar his Pitts' there. (Yes, multiple Pitts, poor fella!) Waaaay back in the day I used to fly (translation: CRASH) my gas RC planes there. Once I converted to electric, I had no need for a long runway... or any runway for that matter. I recently found otu that they were having a fly-in that day, so I decided to go check out the fun!

Impact! Here a Cessna pilot drops a nicely placed flour-bomb.


Another Cessna pilot comes in with his flour-bomb. This time hitting on the other side of the target.


Uuummm.... I sure hope that judge was paying attention to where that flour-bomb was heading! On this approach he/she overcompensated just a tad.


Oh, come on now! Surely there has to be SOME altitude restriction? This isn't the spot-landing contest! Upon arrival I quickly observed some shady flying, trying to get in a bit low. lol

It's been a llllloooooonnnnggggg time since I shot any GA aircraft, so Saturday I was just in heaven! I also got a lot of video as well, so after I get that all sorted out I'll post it as well.

Wow that's really cool! I'm learning to fly in a Super Cub atm, great aircraft (and as you can see - its suitable for so many applications!).
