I find online play to be pretty boring actually, I can't get any kills in because i don't have a joystick, and i don't know how to get into an organized battle.

Get a joystick that has twist rudder & a headset for teamspeak for sure that will change your mind about flying.
You'll find this link very resourcefull m8.....remember it takes time to learn this game...there is alot of great pilots in hyperlobby.

Some servers have organized battles and they tell ppl about them in their server homepages. Join teamspeak sometime, get a proper joystick and then get to know something about the planes. It'll get you hooked in no time.

pretty good joysticks cost about 40$, I dont know about the most basic ones.
