When i play a quick mission in the coral sea, when i fly to the other carrier the enemy planes have fell off and i carnt understand why

In that map the enemy planes must takeoff first. I know that AI sometimes falls in water if too much loading, as it results in one of the takoff training missions. Do you give them any heavy loadout?

If not, I'm not sure whats going on, sorry.
