Hi Zuti,

Like may others, I have the UI installed plus many other mods. I installed this update a few days ago.
When I went to practice some carrier landings last night using the Single Missions/USN/F4F-3/Takeoff missions (Coral Sea Online 1 map) I found that every time I crossed the threshold of the carrier on landing the program froze with a message that there was an incorrect call to memory and the program needed to close.
I tried this on several other missions and the same thing happened (Pacific Islands map).
I had only installed a couple of map mods and your update since the last time I used these missions, so it wasn't to difficult to find the problem. I disabled "01_ZUTI_AirfieldsMod" and things were right again.

Have you run into this problem before? Do you have any thoughts on how I can make this mod work?
Will the removal of this mod effect my use of the Slovania map?

Lastly, since the installation of the Slovenia map update, I have 7 maps listed in the FMB and the all.ini. Are these all required or are some redundant?

Relics from the past, really.

As for the issue you're having, nope, didn't encounter that one before. I'll try to see if i can repeat the problem. And yes, that mod is critical for 1.34 version. If you need to have it disabled then please use v1.33 of this map as on that version airports have proper runway plates.

Thanks for the quick advice. I will reinstall the previous version until I hear more.
By the way, I happened to notice on the "Latest Threads" list that Aragorn1963 has just recently run into a very similar problem and I suspect the cause is the same. I will PM him and ask if he has installed the update and if he has, suggest he disable it as a test.

I checked with Aragorn1963 and it turns out that he had recently installed this mod too. He disabled it and now his missions are working ok.
It seems that at least some systems are not compatible with this mod. Hope you sort it out ok.

The only mod I have before this is the 1.32, and I have reverted to that due to the memory conflict with the airfield mod.

I love and am grateful for this map, using Shore's book on the Yugoslavian air war to formulate missions:

Spinner: do you user my MDS mod too? Which mods are loaded before AirfiedsFriction mod?

If you want, you can PM me your e-mails and i'll send you new version. Perhaps that will sort things out but i still don't see why it would not be running. This memory issue happens even in other maps or just for this one?

I don't use the MDS mod because I don't play online.
Your mod was the first folder in the "Mods" directory.
Yes, it happened on the Pacific Islands map as well as Coral Sea Online 1 map

I would be happy to try it again if you think you know what went wrong.

I've updated first post for this topic with DL link for v1.33 of Slovenia map. Also, perhaps you can try v1.34 with new AirfieldsFriction mod that is also available at the same download location. If you decide to do so, please REMOVE old version of Airfields Friction mod that came with 1.34 (it is v0.2). Folder name should be: 01_Zuti_AirfieldsMod.
