Sink the Bismarck
#16

I'm thinking of making a shortened version, but rather than an airstart, I think I would move the Ark Royal closer.

Regretfully, there is no way to make the Bismarck react in a special way to being hit. I could make it circle, but it would circle wheter or not there was a torpedo hit.

Sometimes trying to get accurate historical missions is impractical.... many players haven't the time or inclination to sit and fly a single mission for hours and hours.

a whole half hour? Confusedhock: mustve been so boring for those guys back then.

BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA!!! ... nice...

I for one love the extended length...

There is nothing like cranking up the headphones, in the dark, TrackIR on and buttkicker fully loaded (and the Nag out of the house) on a thursday night and playing a mission which occupies every bit of your attention... It is role playing at its best.

For the people who wish to have the time trimmed to a couple of mins and THEN action, well... they are in a different ball park of flight simmers.

Von, good job on the mission.. It will be even better when they have a better Swordfish cockpit out in about...

Yes, it would be nice to take off from the Ark Royal and in some minutes get close to the beast! Thanks!

My problem is that I live high in mountains without regular eletricity and I have a gasoline eletricity generator so is prohibitive to spend lots of time without action. Other people don

Wow! I would have installed windmill, water-power and solar-panel as augmentation or backup, if I were off the electricity grid like you.

Well, I'm not gonna make you waste energy by watching Planet Mechanics, but if there is water coming down your mountain, you could harvest it's energy. Wink
