Hi.
I know a fellow Norwegian who is an excellent 3D-modeller. Amongst many other aircraft he's made a very nice 3D-model of the Heinkel He 115 and he is willing to give this model (which is basically complete( to anyone who an implement it into Il-2. So if anyone can and have the time to do this we would be interested in hearing from you.
I suppose I don't need to tell you how much fun this thing would be in il-2. Apart from the German K
Will be wonderful for a lot of missions!
That looks nice! Would make an interesting addition.
Can I ask a techie question, what software do you/ the 3d moddlers use to create that aircraft?
Is google sketchup an appropriate program for this sort of thing? can that be converted into IL2? I design small buildings and have recently started using Sketchup 7 to create 3d models for some clients and was thinking this might be useful for modelling aircraft in IL2, but i have no idea about coding etc in IL2.
Anyhoo sorry if that question is posted in the wrong bit, but I do like the he115 idea.

What a fine work!
Sure that we're interested, oh yes
This is Rock`n Roll for my eyes!!! Great!!! We want this!!!
Always loved that plane. 8)
Absolutely %100 LOVE this airplane. It would be fantastic to see it in the sim!
Hello,
that would be very nice, but first thing is to check if the model is compatible with IL-2. First concern would be number of polygons. IL-2 models are usually low-poly (something like 12-15000 polys could be acceptable for such a large, twin-engined, multicrew plane), how many is this one?
