that would be very nice, but first thing is to check if the model is compatible with IL-2. First concern would be number of polygons. IL-2 models are usually low-poly (something like 12-15000 polys could be acceptable for such a large, twin-engined, multicrew plane), how many is this one?

This has been talked about elsewhere - see the thread on my Do17z WIP. I think anything as high as 30,000 polys is acceptable for the game engine now, but Magpie will know for sure.

But - what a gorgeous piece of modelling!

I wonder what happened to that. Slow Please finish it and could you please release the TB-1 once you have finished it with a seperate download link instead of putting it in in UI 1.1 like with you're Ar 234 Nightfighter. :evil: It looks great though will it be released soon?

As many of you point out, there are a lot of possibillities for mission for this wonderful aircraft. Myself, being a Norwegian I am naturally partial to missions flown by the Naval Air Forc4es he 115s during April-June 1940, as well as the PQ convoy attacks. I happen to live only a 1.5 hour drive from the seapane base 1./K

Thats true. Even as AI it would be a huge plus for the sim. It might be worth showing it to Maraz or Magpie too. I suspect Slow has far too many projects on the go already.
