on the japanese fighters and possibly the P-40 the metal sight will only come down if the reflector sight is damaged. Can we activating this with a key combination? I would prefer the metal gun sight. Thank you.

i'd like to see this implemented on some AC, as well. i'm thinking that it should use the reticle dimmer (Ctrl-D) command, but that won't work for the Jap planes, as they already use this particular key combo. the P-40's, for example, don't, and hopefully it could be implemented, using a similar technique to Ranwers' Me-410 cockpit, where the central instrument panel retacts to the side via the Ctrl-D command. in fact, for this kind of request, i would look to Ranwers, but i'm sure he has plenty on his plate at the moment.... :wink:

as this is a modding site, i should correct that, and say; it cannot be activated.....yet. :wink:
A way to turn off the reflex sight would be also nice, maybe this two can be linked.
one time i was flying the rufe, got woonded wth holes in the glass and all, and the iron sight went up by itself!?!?!?
