i just downloaded the Fairey Swordfish Mk1 beta and i keep getting the usual 60% CTD when a plane is not installed correctly. I am using UI 1.1, is that all i need? or do i need to download A/C installer 3.8 in addition? i followed all the steps on the swordfish thread with the exception of the A/C installer 3.8. if i do need A/C installer 3.8, where can i get it?

one could put that another way............i didn't follow all the steps.......its quicker,shorter and easier to type, and means the same thing :wink:
get the AC installer, available here, and from now on, try to remember that this IS a modding site, so you'd best get in the habit of following ALL the instructions. choosing which parts you want to do will get you nowhere - well, i lie, it might get you 60%... 8)

the 60% troubleshooter, mentioned in all the FAQ thread stickys, and in almost all the searchable 60% threads, and which I have now stickeyd too, solves all this .

If the link for the AC installer is down, report so in it's thread (it's not down btw, I checked) Broken links do not fall into the scope of the technical help forum.
