I downloaded freddys cockpit mod whic his great, but when i take off shortly thereafter; My plane seems to trim itself to the extremes like full elevator down trim or up and it trims aielerons to the left maximum, it may have nothing to do with the cockpit mod.

I also reformatted my pc and am using xp sp3 instead of vista if that is useful information.

I hope someone knows whats up.


EDIT: i tried other aircraft and they have the same problem, could it be a control i set that has gone afowl? or what?

Could be your controller gone haywire for some reason ie. the driver installation glitched or similar. Try to re-install controllers first, then re-check buttons in IL-2. Sometimes helps if you set them again.

To me it sounds more like controller issue like Flanker mentioned. Maybe it became uncalibrated?

It can be that and/or driver issue. I had my Thrustmaster Cougar go idiotic, reversing controls etc. I unplugged it and re-installed drivers, recalibrated the stick and it was good to go again.

i have had the full left alron problem with my joystic in all my sims. the way i fixed was by opening it up and spraying WD-40 in the servos.

problem fixed, i download drivers for my logitech dual action gamepad, redefined the axis controls in il2 and then recalibrated.

all is well now, thank you.
