After making my last Battle Of Britain Single Mission. Ive decided to make a Battle Of Britain Campaign, Now Ive never made a Campaign before, so Im asking for peoples help. I can make missions and I enjoy making missions, but I need a hand compiling Campaigns.

Also I would like help with people making skins. I can only make halfhearted skins, and struggle with accurate, realistic and historic skins for correct air squadrons. So I would like to ask for help if anyone would make some German Luftwaffe skins for He-111's, Bf-110's and Bf-109's. I am aware there are skins out there dating this period and theatre but I do like plenty of options.

If anyone would like to contribute or comment, please do. Im always open for ideas and suggestions.

If u need a list of all the squadrons in the sw Sectoer for the Brits i got 1 (It shows wat sq and its grouped where there from.).

1 make new folder for your campaign under desired nation ( example : ...\IL-2 Sturmovik 1946\Missions\Campaign\GB\)

2 place your mission files and video files (if any) in it



3 make campaign.ini ( simple txt file renamed ...) and list your missions and path to videos



4 make info.properties file and add description



5 if video folder ... this is how it should look



* don't forget to add _ru suffix to all properties files if campaign is for modded IL2

* use files from some other static campaign to see how its done

* watch for campaign folder name and correct path to your video files

* make sure intended player squadron/flight is different from any AI squad/flight in mission ( so users won't end up in wrong plane ... when getting higher rank )

Why make new ones when there are so many great ones already ?

http://www.canons-skins.com/ His BoB skins have not all been uploaded to the new site yet, but when they are you'll have more skins than you probably need. On a personal note, I have been using Canon's skins on all my 109s for as long as I can remember. He's also got 110s, Hurricanes and a couple of very nice Spits.

http://www.cptfarrels.com/ Is another excellent site for skins. Plenty to choose from and all very high quality. CptFarrel is a close second on my list of 109 dealers

Look up Kristorf's work at M4T or Flying Legends for RAF skins. He's a master of the Spitfires and Hurricanes.

As for bombers, IMME's done a skin for pretty much every plane with more than one engine. Find his skins at FlyingLegends.

Of course there are many talented skinners out there and the ones I mentionned are just favourites of mine.

As for skins, I'd contact Compans. He makes lovely ones, see his hurricane campaigns on M4T, and he is also (IMHO) the best at putting together a great campaign

You completely lost me there. Im in need of simple terms. See before this week, I only came on AAA to download all the planes ect ect. Ive never really made anything for release ever. So, please if Im going wrong somewhere just enlighten me. Its all very new.

But thank you again everyone for all the help so far.

And as for skins as I said, I like to keep my options open, or easier said I like veriation. Just gives things a more, open feel when your in combat. Get me?

Hers a sight i found verry helpfull i would sugest you watch thease videos. It will make ur Cmapaign The beast. (be shure to use cannonuk's map and the spit mk1 for uy Campaign).

Undoubting(ly), I will use what aircrafts were used, and do my best to use acurate skins for which squadrons at correct airfields. I dont think I can make a 100% acruate campaign but I will like to give my best.
I think Ive got wind about Canon making a new Channel map. Im slow at catching up on things but if that is so, I will still go ahead and make this Campaign for my own pleasure and send some people my work.

the fox, listen m8 you already made one single mission,... as a test you should make 2 missions extra and try to make the 3 missions to work like a campaign, believe me you wil encounter all sorts of problems but it will show the structure of campaignbuilding in il2 , if it works with the 3 missions then you can add as many missions you like but then you also need a story line :wink: ....and like fly_zo said , open up an existing campaign it can be very helpful

Yeah Im not planning on rushing anything I do want this to turn out perfect. But everything is still a WIP, Im only at the stage of gathering as much infomation as I can before commiting myself to building the campaign. Im happy for any advice that anone can give me, but I dont intend on rushing this.

u could wate for the lancaster and wellington (the sterling will be a while)
