That's looking really good guys! US_Grant, when you finish your internals can you send them to me? I'm hours of work behind you guys at the moment. I think I'll be taking this to work with me for when I have down time.
EDIT: And I'll make sure that I can get my panels to correspond to the damage as much as possible.
Think there's going to be problems matching them boosh, centre of the wing top is a long single panel but the damage model is done as smaller seperates. Also there is a small damaged panel modelled on the nose where there isn't one.
We'll be able to experiment, that's the luxury of template making. If, in order to create transparency, all we have to use is flat black, then we can make that panel look a little more jagged as though it was ripped out of the aircraft. If not, there are other routes we can try. We'll just have to be creative.
If we have to although not exactly ideal we could somehow fit in those "supposed" panels into the actual panel lines. Although it won't be completely 100% correct it's a vast improvement to what we have now and somethin we have to put up with if it's not going to be viable the other ways...
Yes I understand I was just pointing out a option that one could take if all else fails...

I do not agree with you F-22. I believe we can create skins as close to original as possible, thus enhancing the work of those who created the plane. This is a game and as such will never do anything 100%. But quantity and speed does not mean quality.
My work is slow, but try to leave the aircraft as close to reality as possible.

Minus a few bugs to work out, the fuselage is done. Tomorrow I plan to do the wings and tail. After that I believe the panels and rivets will be complete.
nice little addition mate, look forward to the finished helmet 8)
