Dicided on a different PC My next question is can you run il-2 1946 with windows XP SP2? I also have the base version of XP too. just wondering which runs il-2 best!

I'm using XP with SP 2 ... I had to reinstall XP as SP 3 really slowed down selected operations on my computer. IL2 Works just fine with SP 2.

XP-SP2 is great for Il2. I've had no problems with SP3, but I have heard that SP3 does not always work well with AMD systems.
