About mod installation?
#1

Meh! I ran out of disk space today, so I had to delete Il-2 and all the mods/campaigns etc. I had installed. While I have a backup of 1946 with working UI1.1 on my C: drive (that needs to be pasted back to D: to work), but I'll try an alternative to UI - only installing mods I need for the current campaign, deleting them and then install new ones for the next campaign. I'm doing this to save both disk space, and loading times which on my PC with dozen working background programs are a real headache...

So, how exactly do I do this? I get the SoundMod 0.93 (or the Mod Activator if I don't want new sounds), install it, then I install ACInstaller 3.8 (or newer) and I simply install/paste mods into the 1946/MODS folder? Or am I wrong? Do I update sounds the same way as with UI (paste newer engine sounds in the files folder?) :?

As far as I am aware that is correct. It's been so long since I did it I really can't remember properly.
