Where can I find a good template for the F-86 Sabre? I tried the one from US_GRANT but there was no file to put in mod folder. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure what you mean. Could you be more specific?

If you mean the template is not a skin, then you are right. If you are looking for a skin then try the skin download section and look for skins. My template is a PSD file with layer to make skins.

You sure you know what you mean by template? There should be NOTHING to go into your Mods folder. Templates are the basis from where you make skins only using photoshop or paintshop pro. The only thing that may go into your Mods folder is to change the default skin BUT only after you've done a skin with the template. Until then there should never be anything to put into there.

This is where my sabre template is and also HH_Blaze has put his template.

As for the skins folders for the F-86 and the MiG-15/17s, you will have to create those in the Paintschemes/skins folder (C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\IL-2 Sturmovik 1946\PaintSchemes\Skins)

The folder names will be:
F-86A5
F-86F25E
F-86F25L
MiG-15(bis)
MiG-15(bis)late
MiG-17
