Combined CERT AI 3.0 and Carrier Takeoff 5.3.3
#1

Some users have asked for a combined version of Certificate's AI Mod and my Carrier Takeoff Mod. So (with Certificate's permission) I combined the latest version of both mods into a single mod. It's available here:

http://www.filefront.com/14174031/AI_3_ ... _5_3_3.rar

INSTALLATION: Inside the rar file is a folder named 'AI_3_0_and_Carrier_Takeoff_5_3_3'. Copy or extract this folder to the MODS folder in your IL-2 game folder.

IMPORTANT: Delete or disable any earlier versions of the CERT AI, Carrier Takeoff, and Carrier Catapult mods.

This version is not compatible with Zuti's Moving Dogfight Server mod, or the AI NavLights mod. (The latest Carrier Takeoff mod includes an option for turning off AI nav lights at night.)

To download the stand-alone version of Certificate's AI mod, or for more information:

I just scanned the downloaded file with McAfee and with Malwarebytes, and it comes up clean. I believe Filefront also scans files as they are uploaded. What antivirus software is giving the virus alert?

If you don't want the AI to use the catapult in a particular mission, you can add a [Mods] section to the end of the .mis file (if you don't already have a [Mods] section), and set the CatapultAllowAI parameter equal to 0. It would look like so:

[Mods]
CatapultAllowAI 0

If you don't want the AI to use the catapult in ANY missions, you can add the [Mods] section to the end of your conf.ini file (if you don't already have a [Mods] section), and set the CatapultAllowAI parameter equal to 0. That way you don't have to add it to each mission file. It would look like so:

[Mods]
CatapultAllowAI=0

Notice a slightly different format between the two. In the .mis file the parameter name and value are separated by one or more spaces. In the conf.ini file they're separated by an equal sign (=). Be sure to make a backup of your conf.ini before trying to make any changes.

The README file for the Carrier Takeoff mod explains all the different optional parameters that can go in the [Mods] sections.

Sorry Fireball, whats teh difference between the mods compatible withs Zutis MovingDog, and teh ones taht are not?
It would seem to me taht with teh last option taht integres teh three mods I woudl get teh best of both worlds, dont I? Why have them separated? what do I loose if I choose to install the one that is compatible with the Moving Dog one?
