I was thinking for IL-2, a B-52 formation wrecking havoc on Okinawa. Or an A-37 bombing the hell out of the Japs with a A-1 Skyraider on CAP. For troop transport, a C-130 or a bunch of C-119/C-113s. Along with a pimped out F-9F upgraded to a F9F Cougar. or some of the piston driven plane from here.

Think of the SCALE of the maps in IL2 then think about the B52.. There should be a solid Korea War (1950's anywhere actually) available quite soon.. that might soothe your itch for a while..

this has been discussed many times. IL2 cant hold the speeds or altitude settings for some of the aircraft. first u would need the B-52 then a fighter that can go mach 1 or 2 to get to it and that will do nothing but crash the game. so nothing can bring it down.

Yeah, speed should be under 1 mach and it should fit into a default funway (what C-130 doesnt do)

Or when will there be a X-Wing fighter available? Or when you fly trough a ring you get a power up? IMHO Korea is, Mig-15, F-86 etc., is the max of il-2... But hey, who i'm i? I'm happy the way it is right now! Nice community, good people and mods which make my favorite sim better than before!
