I was just flying a TB3 (Or whatever) and was just thinking "wouldent it be cool if I could hear all the wind rushing around me" so I came here to see if any one was intrested in making a mod about exactly that.

You can hear the wind rushing around you when the canopy is open. Maybe that sound file could work for the TB-3?

I'm a little bit off topic, but I remember a couple years ago, when I was doing carrier ops, on final with the canopy open I heard wind. But now I don't... and it's a bit doll. What is the name of the sound fikle, and where can I get it. Thx

Easier said than done, finding a link for this sound pack is not straight forward.

Some things that may make a great open cockpit wind

-more low frequency buffeting the ears

-clothes rustling

-a couple of low volume metal clinks from a buckle

I dont have sound editing software /hardware.

Wind noise in open cockpits is implemeted in stock game. Check your sound setup!

If you stand just behind a ww2 radial engine while it is running, you can not hear yourself scream. Let alone the sound of rushing air.

I redid the open canopy wind for the 1.1 adon , sadly it is no longer avi, but if you want it then ill upload it today and post a download link in this thread.....

No...there will be a Jafa sound pack avi here at AAA in the near future , before or after UI 1.2 ....? , cant say at this time but we are workin on it.
