p-51/p-47 skins and codes request
#1

everyone knows that almost every mustang and thunderbolt in europe during ww2 had their own skins and codes. but il-2 1946 has limited skins and only numbers for 8th airforce aircraft. so can someone make fairly accurate skins for fighter units such as the 487th FS, 352nd FG 8th AFfor p-51 and 368th FG 9th AF and fit them out with their respective codes and colours etc. OK? and also serial numbers on the tail. if someone has already done this then let me know and lock this thread.

cheers

I'm going to go out on a limb here and ask:

Are you saying you want two squadrons of planes made with historical serial numbers on the planes? I have yet to find any info with that much detail.

Go here.

You will find all the info you need to create your skins.

http://wp.scn.ru/
I did up the skins for the 334th FS, 4th FG a while back. (P47's)
Currently working on the P51's for the same squadron.
Others have done quite a bit of work on other squads.

oh they don't have 2 be THAT accurate. just something like on a P-51: HO-M 44-14151... if you get my drift.

Okay, now I understand. So the next question would be historical nose art or just leave that blank?
