Zero A6M5 - Weathered IJN green
#1

Do you like this skin ?
It's Jesters-Ink base skin that I reworked in Phostoshop... to reflect the hell that IJN fighters went trough 43-44...
Added more green, bit darker and alumininum weathering...

It is WIP... and I'm not sure if it should be uploaded, as base skin belongs to Jester-Ink.

Any Zero fans out there... ?

I dont know what my skins is beautiful, but i make some of them. It's WIP A-20C template based on IMME's lines/rivets:

Also, do you speak russian? If yes, i'll tell you about clean hinomarus (PM only, not flood-offtopic-etc).

Well bodenplatte, if you prefer clear hinomarus:
...There is "softcore" version:

Well, between "maintained" hinomarus and late war weathering... it's personal preference.

Are there any photos with worn of hinomarus...?

I don't think Japanese planes flew/survived long enough
to become weathered in 43/44

Japanese a/c-s had no primer, therefore the paint very badly kept on a surface. Weathering was very fast.

Always there were exceptions
But ok, now set your eyes to your skin. You slightly overdoing with weathering on hinomaru, yes?Smile I think "softcore" version of topicstarter's skin is more historically correct.
