Hey, i have installed 4.08 but no changes happended when i started the game.
then i installed unified installer but nothing happend with the game, it still says 4.07 when i start the game.
I am using a cracked .exe because i lost my disc.
You did double click one of the mod switchers when you installed UI didn't you?
I'd say it probably wouldn't work if you're using a cracked exe. The game runs without a cd if you use the exe's provided in the UI download, and by double clicking the file Il2VersionSwitcher.exe (in your game root folder) as described by Gumpy should fix things for you.

I cant find the mod switcher, is it just in the i-2 game folder ?
If it says, 4.07m when you start game, then you don't have the 4.08m patch installed, or you did it wrong.
Maybe its angry because i have the cracked .exe
Idk what to do.
Is there a real .exe file out there ?
