i had to coppy IL-2 from one comp to another a few days ago i used a portable hard drive cause i lost the disk and when i started it up there was no land or sky only planes and airfields look through every map and its the same thing is there a missing file or something i need

I think your config has been corrupted,do you have a back up config?

If not,there should be a file in your IL2 root folder called config.BAK
Copy this file to desktop and just change the name from config.BAK to config.ini
Make a backup of your config.ini,then overwrite your old config with the config.BAK that you renamed and this may help.

If that doesn't help reverting back to your game made config.BAK then try mine>

It is most likely in the open GL section that it has been corrupted,
I've had it happen myself on my rig and there is a couple other posts here about it that I have read with others who have had it happen.
