[Dr. Strangelove]

Hiya!

Well, I suppose my PC can't handle the nice Spit I cockpit, whenever I try to fly around in the beautiful aircraft I get framerates of ~10. Thus, dogfights are an impossibility and the Spitfire is practically useless (well... cloud dancing is fun too...). boohooo (That enough tears fer ya?)

So you see my predicament: I'm not sure whether I have the skills to take all the necessary .tgas and make them 512x512 and so on and so forth...

However, the same has been done with Freddy's wonderful cockpits (those were also a problem before I found the mod).
If anyone could help my situation I would be extremely grateful!

Ah! It just goes to show that with enough tears, you do get what you want!

As fer me system specs, I can tell you that they're nothing special, but I can run the game at a nice speed with good visuals. It's just that the slightest thing can turn the whole balance to Hell. (Cockpits, for example. Even when not in the first-person, FPS rates drop when the cockpit is too high-res)
