[HH_Cipher]

Gentlemen! I present to you my first sound mod!

These are the most realistic sounds made for any flight sim for the P-38. They even include authentic super charger whine, which cannot be achieved normally because all of the newly restored 38's have no super chargers.

This mod package includes:

New P-38 sounds

Muffled / Quieter internal engine noise [might make slightly louder in future]

New Allies Flaps sounds

New Allies Gear sounds

New start up sounds

Bit of the read me:

INSTALLATION

Make sure you back up all the Allinson_tb & xAllinson_tb files, Air start begin and Air start end, and p_dev_00 and p_dev_02 and

motor.Allison_tb in your presets folder.




Install the "files" folder into:

XXXX:\Program Files\Ubisoft\IL-2 Sturmovik 1946

Just downloaded this and I'd say it is pretty much perfect! Great attention to detail and I personally would leave the muffled effect on the engines, it is more realistic, since turbochargers act as a 1/3rd of a muffler in real life, this adds a more real mechanical mod to the sound, hence a more realistic mod.

Thanks makes the P-38 nicer.

D/L'd and installed fine. I find them first rate. Doesn't seem like there is much tweaking left to do if any. I especially like hitting F3 and listening to it do the flyby. Truely a plus.
