VF101hawk Wrote:hmmm weird tool, or maybe not working??The "analize" button is not meant to say anything, just to try to fix stuff. Maybe calling it "Parse" would be more accurate, but in any case the goal is to make it fix stuff automatically, not verbose useless information about how many lines were broken or how many characters were trimmed.
Doesnt say anything about anything at all. only thing that happens when you press analize is that a box apeirs called toolbox aircraftlist. nothing more. you can save the list but when opening them you dont get any wiser either to if there are any foults or not.
Im running win xp 32 bit but ill give it a try on my win 7 64 bit.
By the way the program crashes when you press the close button to the toolbox aircraft list

When the new weapons file is created I gather the year of manufacture/service is added, but looks like it is truncating one character short on some.
My old weapons_ru.properties;
Code:#####################################################################
# A-20C

New_weapons_ru.properties
Code:#####################################################################
# A-20C, 194

Seems to work ok for some though, Avenger and Bf-109G-2 are a couple where year is appended ok;
Code:#####################################################################
# Avenger Mk.III, 1944

VF101hawk Wrote:I did red the redme txt ty!!Uh? what missing stuff?
Is information about missing stuff no important information??
Quote:even if it gets fixed?? thats weird!!!I suppose that if every time I took my car to a garage and they said 'hey it was broken, we fixed it, it'll cost you nothing', I wouldn't give a sh*t about what was broken :-? maybe that's just me
Next time you have car in garage and they present you the bill then dont ask for a recite!
Ohh its fixed so what does it matter what was wrong..
VF101hawk Wrote:PeterD it was not meant in direspect.Hmm I see your point. I'll add another checkbox for the next release: turn it on and it will write into a log file stuff from the moment you click on analize til the program ends.
Missing stuff= things that the program corrects and so on. bad word used by me.sorry
I only mean if i dont know what has been fixed how am i to know what has been broken?
If game after using the tool crashes but works ok before how am i to tell what the program may have done wrong?
I could ofcourse start to look thruw all and every line to see what had been changed but that would take along time and therefor along time to maybe come back here and give an error report.
Same as if your m8 fixed car for free but when you got it he wouldnt tell you what was fixed or presumed fixed. then you take it for a spin crash in to a tree. damn no breaks.
You go back and ask your friend if he did do anything with brakes or what else did he fix and he says that info isnt need to know.. see point??
you wont let him fix car again would you??
this accually happened to me just a week ago exept for chrashing in the tree and it was not for free at the garage. they say they fix brake but hadnt... but i survived..
