I recently had to re-install the game, after trying to install ship pack 2 with dreadfull results, I won't go into details. However ! after getting up to V4.8m then U.I 1.1 I tried to install the early Bf109's E-1 E-3 etc used the almighty buttons folder, and even another one too. But the game crashes at 60% like the guy said in regards to installing the Bf 109 E-4's

Luckily I saved the buttons file that came with the game or U.I 1.1 ? so everything now works again, but I have these birds that I can't use. Love the E-3 with the nose canon, I still have my original skins folder, which I carried across to the new install. So they are all there trop E-4's etc what must I do to get them in the game without it crashing ?

What am I doing wrong ? should the buttons file go in first or other files as well ? Please help amigo's ! :???:

What about editing air.ini? Did you do that correctly?
What buttons file did you use? Does one come with those aircraft, or are they included in Aircraft Installer 3.8?

I used a few buttons files, the one I have needs to be updated I think ? The Almighty buttons file is an option with the download of the Bf-109 E4's the author did say at your own risk ! I think these aircraft crashed the game. Its a lot of stuffing around to put these aircraft in, so I would like to get it wright the next time I try !
