#1

Team International Brigade is proud to announce a new project. Map of Archangelsk area. Work is still in early stage, but here is some screenshots:

The area was used by Jg5 (Eismeer) and it was southest part that Germans fly in Finland during early stage of war. The nature of the forest war was complitely different than in dense populated areas in Middle-Europe and Russia. That area was and still is a huge wilderness area. Only few roads and villages and only 1 city Archangelsk. This map will be great for German /USSR war geaks. Another real Forgotten Battles map. Mr Agracier have some nice stories about Archangelsk during WW2 and he might share them with you...
I will dig some more info about airfields and units and post it later.
Team International Brigade is busy working with SCW Andalucia map, which should be ready in, say 2 weeks, be sure
And after that this map will have priority.

Here is some screenshots about progress so far. Map is getting along nicely. I have been building Archangelsk city. Next i will make airfields. I had to add lakes manually with help of googlemaps. It was a PITA, but i got it working. I must edit Archangelsk area a bit, so ships can sail in to the harbour. As you can see, objects needs to edit too, but it looks nice. I have some wartime reconnaise pictures about Airfields and also Mangrove from Finnish Virtual Pilots has some great info too. More to come. Stay tuned. As always comments and suggestions are most welcome.

PS! I'm also working with Andalucia map, but it must wait untill Mr. Agraciere returns from ... Spain (lol), so he can edit map_h and do some other basic corrections to that map.
