i've changed the sound files in the sample folder, but it doesn't work.

i can change the mg15, ub, mg131,etc. but i cant chang the mg17.

Ive had the same problem for some time now. I've just gotten used to the sounds of a monkey playing a toy drum, but I would very much like to change them.

Did you remove all of the existing MG17 presets and sounds that are present in the mods folder? The game looks in the mods folder first for any sound files and uses these if they are present (even if you have a new sound in your files\samples folder). I found this out the hard way!

i still cant find it, may it was packed up in some file.

Do you have UI 1.1 installed or some other sound mod?
