Keep it quiet. If Oleg gets word of this then that'll be another 2 years in development

Fireskull Wrote:Another +1Oleg has said SoW will run in DirectX 9 but will use 10 and 11 when present.
By the way, Storm of War: Battle of Britain will require DirectX 11 hardware, especially graphics cards and updated Operating System. I am going into that stage of getting ready, too.
1C: Maddox Games is delayed partly because of waiting for DirectX 11 implementation into the simulation with testing while using the latest ATI and NVIDIA VGAs.

Getting all the wonderful eye candy will require DirectX 11.

Still, you may be right, after all the reflective glass as seen in the Bf109 cockpit only turned up in the most recent shots.

DX11, like all other MS updates, will be an automatic D/L.
Unfortunately for users of Windows XP, they will be left out in the cold much the way they were with DX10.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
On a brighter note, Windows 7 is ROCK SOLID!
I've run both Vista 64 and Win7 64 (Ultimate for both) and Windows 7 is much more stable and takes up a lot less overhead (memory wise) than Vista did. If you're going to have to upgrade for the new DX, then upgrade to Win 7.

Can I do it without a degree in Computer Science?
