Which plane mods have actually new fm's?
#1

Well, the question says it all. Which of the new planes have actually new and realistic fm's? For example, has the famous spit xiv a new fm? What about the other mods?

Is it planned that only new mod planes will be added to 'offcial' UI patches' that have a proper and well tested new fm?

Regards,
Mark

4./JG53_Howlin,

Thanks for the quick answer, but it only partially answers my question ;-) I understand the A3 and XIV actually do have a new fm, but what about the others?

Can maybe someone from AAA compile a list of new mod planes that have up to date, new and well tested fm's?

Thanks,
Mark

All new planes that require some version of the AC Installer have new FM's. So if there is a download link for AC Installer near the download link of the plane then the plane has a new FM. To fly those planes you need the latest version of AC Installer (now 3.8 ). If an AC Installer is not needed, then the plane doesn't have a new FM.

Latest versions of Halifax and Typhoon also have new FM's, but those are not in AC Installer 3.8, and I'd recommend waiting for AC Installer 3.9 before installing them, unless you are experienced at fixing compatibility problems.

I didn't know the AC installer contains the fm. So, each new version of AC installer means new FM's for some planes?

Usually yes, but not always. Some new AC Installer versions may just fix some bugs found in the previous version, but usually a new AC Installer in released because some new planes are waiting for their new FM's to be included in the AC Installer. Also the FM's of earlier new slot planes may be changed in new versions of AC installer, but all the planes of unmodded game have still the original FM's in any AC Installer version.

Now at least Sabre, Mig-15 and Thunderjet are waiting for AC Installer 3.9 that should be released soon after Unified Installer 1.2. The UI 1.2 also includes many new planes with new FM's.
