I just put in a new hard drive am slowly putting things back together.

I really don't want to put the il2 Mat Manager back on just to get the Swastika on German aircraft.

Has anyone made a small mod that only puts the swastika on German aircraft? I really do not care about the other aircraft markings because I know that I can download aircraft that are complete with what looks good to me, but I normally just use the default aircraft & like to add the Swastika on the tail...looks incomplete without it...lol..

I use XP Pro O.S.

I finely broke down & got the 300 WD 10000rpm VelociRapter... I really don't notice any difference over the 74 WD Rapror 10000rpm, but I just got it installed & il2 DVD up to the 4.08m... seems nice though.

Hi, just put this line in section "game" in conf.ini (in C:/Program files...blablabla.../Il-2 Sturmovik (if you dont know where it is placed))

HakenAllowed=1

works 100% for me, even Finnish swastikas

Try Spookie's Decal add-on to McWolf's Decal Shine Mod.
They both add real looking decals and adds the Swastikas to German aircraft... no HakenAllowed=1 at all!!!

Go to the Forgotten battles folder in your hard drive

open it

locate the config file ( its a notepad file with a cog on it)

open it

This file is full of data that alters in game settings, find the section under the heading [game] add the following line
HakenAllowed=1

this enables the swastika on the tailplane of the German aircraft as well as correct finnish markings

this is how my [game] section of the config fike looks

No go with me. I still get blank German rudders and Blue/White targets for Finnish planes.
Yes I followed instructions exactly right down to Upper/Lower case, spacing and placement in the [game] subset.
