I think I've spent a little too much time trying to get this awesome map working, but once it does I'm sure the effort will be worth it! I've tried to read over all the readme's etc. and downloaded all suggested parts but still no luck. I keep getting a WRONG TARGET SELECTED when I try to load a Quick Mission Plus mission and no maps except the original Il2 maps will load :-? . I know its probably something really simple I've overlooked but I'm at the end of my rope trying to figure out what it is. Any ideas would be welcome! Thanks in advance.

in conf.ini enable S3TC texture compression and anisotropic filtering of textures:
TexFlags.TexAnisotropicExt=0
TexFlags.TexCompressARBExt=1
Thanks for the info Fly! but it didn't work. I made sure the conf.ini read:
TexFlags.TexAnisotropicExt=0
TexFlags.TexCompressARBExt=1
for Open GL which I use, but still no luck. I'm thinking I might have to wait it out for someone to come up with an auto-install download, as I think I've exasperated all my computer skills (limited I'll admit) on this.

Have you tried opening the map in the FMB ?

Hi guy's don't know if this helps but be sure to realy turn on the S3TC compression, meaning check IL2-Set up and set "Texture mipmap filter"to anisotropic and 'Texture compression" to S3TC, "Texture anisotropic extensions" and "Texture compress ARB extension" on. I had problems with the map until I did this and now it works OK. Don't know which lines tese are in config. Succes.
If you only have the original il2 maps opening then look for all.ini in MODS/MapMods/maps
This should list all of your maps including the mod maps.
It is this list which appears in the FMB drop down menu.

The maps show up in the list but you can't fly them because of the target error.
That's because I didn't make QMB maps for each target type (and none for the 42-45 versions)
