Hello,

For those of you who enjoy early war desert campaigns I've just posted a 32 mission campaign at M4T called 'The Benghazi Handicap -3 Sqn RAAF'.

It follows 3 Sqn RAAF in the western desert during the period Nov 1940 to 20 Apr 41 and the player flies Gladiator (J8A) and Hurricane Mk1 aircraft.

This campaign uses 3 maps; the standard MTO map plus the Libya N-E map by JV69_BADA and the ItalyAfricaGreece map by Redfox59. These excellent maps allow the highly mobile nature of the desert war to be simulated using this sim and are much appreciated. The campaign wouldnt have been made without them so a big thanks from me to all concerned with the maps and U1.1.

G'Day Ezzie,

I downloaded this campaign too, but I cannot play it. On the very first mission, there is no map at the pre-brief and of course the mission cannot load either, I think it said landscape MTO.ini is missing. I have AAA UI 1.1 installed, I thought that contains all the maps required. Any ideas how to fix it?

I'm not sure what's causing that. The first 8 (from memory) missions use the stock MTO map that came with the 4.09 patch and it sounds like this map isnt being found when you try and load the first mission. I'm not very savvy re the mods but I'm wondering if you are using U1.1 with the version switcher set to 4.08 and not 4.09 - this might explain why you cant see the maps.

Someone with more knowledge on the mods side of things might be able to offer some more advice?

You are right mate, I changed it to 4.09, it works now.
