Detailed Moscow or Berlin map?
#1

I've just tried out canonuk's recent English Channel map and his London is wonderful.
Do there exist such detailed maps for the cities of Moscow or bombed-out Berlin?
Thanks.

No Moscow city, yet. Perhaps CanonUK will do that in the future?
We already have a good Berlin map. If you want it "bombed out" then that can be done by using the Full Mission Builder and using the Destruction tool to create your own levels of destruction. It's pretty simple to do- just ask any mission builder.

There was a Moscow map under development on Aviaskins, but in the last post the creator appears to have abandoned it. (My Russian is minimal and Google Translator's Russian isn't much better). Original link here: http://forum.aviaskins.com/showthread.php?t=552

Pursuivant, thank you for sharing that link. That looks like a really nice map and a nice size too, from Kalinin in the north to Tula in the south. I'm sure Moscow would be difficult to do trying to recreate its features, locations, and Kremlin itself.

Wartime London was twice the size of Berlin, three times bigger than Moscow - so any smaller metropolis should be very achievable using Canon's combination of limited 3D objects and clever ground texturing.
