Sorry if this has come up quite a few times, but I did go through a few of these tech help pages first before asking...
I have run/played this game on about 5 different computers now and I have been going nuts trying to figure out how to get the gun sight to work on the D3A1. It's always blacked out and really doesn't help for trying to shoot stuff down. Help please?

Hi baron and welcome to the community!
I had the same problem and I had been playing IL2 for years/ CTRL+D should work. shift+F1 only works for aircraft that you can't see the gunsight at all (german 46 jets).
