So...I'm at the breaking point with 90% game loading failures. It's the oft maligned "3DO/Russian/mono" or something similar problem. I've tried every disabling infantry mods, I've tried disabling the C47 mod, I've made sure there's no alternate skins downloaded for paratroopers, pilots, infantry, etc., I've set TexCompression to 2, pretty much everything I've seen when searching the forum for help. And yet, I can't play more than one mission at a time without the problem popping up. It's driving me insane!
Did anyone ever figure out how to fix this, or am I stuck doing one mission at a time for all eternity?

Did you install any map mods recently? :wink:
I installed the Darwin_Small map, yes. I thought that might be the problem, so I deleted the map, removed the associated text from the all.ini file, and got rid of all files related to the map...yet the problem persists.

I very sure a 90% crash is due to map all.ini inconsistencies so make sure you delete all your mod maps and all the .ini entries included with them. :wink:
Well I deleted everything related to the darwin map, and got rid of everything in the all.ini file related to it, but I still get the problem. How annoying :-?
Make sure that there is absolutely nothing map related in your mods folder. If it still doesn't works then I'm sorry but I'm stumped. :-? This may be a good time, however to re-install and update your game. :wink:
Oh goodness, that's not something I'd like to contemplate. I have SO MANY MODS it would be a huge pain to reinstall them all. If my game fails to load every mission or two, well, it's highly annoying but I can put up with it if it means I don't have to reinstall everything.
Hopefully when the 1.2 AAA patch comes out, this issue will be fixed.
