I remember having had an exe file to switch the Gyro gunsight on/off in Spitfire IXs, but after reinstalling Il2 I can't find it anymore Sad
Can anyone help me please?

It's my understanding that it is in the MODS folder. The Folder BritishReticlesMod. That's the folder I have.

Thanks Grant, I'll have a look at it.

pilotsden, I was looking for a way to have a regular gunsight instead, and not to turn the "moving crosshair" on/off.

I see batch files for Mk.II Gyro Sights, but nothing for Mk.IX. In any case, they came with the U.I.

Unified Installer?

The batch files should be in the game folder after installing.

Hmmm, well, I had a look at those .bat files, and whatever files they used to manipulate no longer exist, or at least are not where they used to be, so it seems there is no way to remove those Mk.II Gyro Sights. I could post the contents, but then you would have to recreate the folder and file structure from scratch. If you still have a U.I. v1.0 kicking around (I do, on disk somewhere) then maybe it's possible...E&OE

It's not worth messing up my game and risking to reinstall everything again. I can live with it.
