after i shot some planes whiles they're taking off, they seem to disappear quite fast, which annoys me. is there a files that i can change too have longer lasting planes and not disappear?

Totaly agree with you
I always found unrealistic to see damaged planes disapearing so kick leaving only flames and smoke.....
Why they don't behave like static ones or vehicles which remains as wreckage?
But i'm not sure this could be easily changed (I'm not in computer God's secret)
