Okay guys.

do any of you know wether the "basic mods" for Il-2 '46 (such as the sound mod or mod activator) are compatible with the official 4.09m patch?

From what is being said here, the UI v1.2 conflicts with 4.09m (at least until v1.2.5 comes out) . So, because of that, i'm a bit wary at trying to install these mods

can any of you answer this?

You could try to use the Mod Activator over at SAS... That will work with AAA UI 1.2,

I would say HOLD off. I tired the I think wolfs gun sight and it needs the sound mod in order to work.
Well in a nut shell --- it DID NOT work. :?

I tried it and tried it and tried it...I never could never make the SAS 4.09 switcherversion work...although there are those who say they have.

UI1.2.5 is coming up and will be compatible with 4.09, just be patient friends.
