AC47 Spooky

Ok I was wondering if We could have the AC47 Spooky  Gunship because it would then add a very good aspect to the game and so many great missions could be created... Imagine flying past a battlefield full of tanks and then get on one of those guns and blowing them to hell!

Btw I was wondering what the limit year would be for making new planes?

Anyway back to the subject here is some info!

Been requested before and shot down... Be warned, this probably won't be taken to too well because the AC-47 was a Vietnam plane and this is a WWII sim that's been shoved into Korea and WWI.

But I saw somewhere else that there were test types made after 1944 or something like that just with smaller guns and different arament.

"When the AC-47 was introduced in 1965 there were no preceding designs to gauge how successful the concept would be. The USAF found itself in a precarious situation when requests for additional gunships began to come in. It simply did not have enough miniguns to fit additional aircraft after the first two conversions. The next four aircraft were equipped with ten .30 caliber AN/M2 machine guns.

It was quickly discovered, however, that these weapons, using ammunition stocks from WWII and Korea, jammed easily, produced large amounts of gases from firing, and, even in ten-gun groups, could only provide the density of fire of a single minigun. All four of these aircraft were retrofitted to the standard armament configuration when additional miniguns arrived."

In my opinion, this plane could easily fly in this sim and it shouldn't be that hard to make; it would also be quite fun to fly and shoot. Now, its time I sat back and waited for someone to scream at me for requesting a 'nam 67 plane.

You can "imagine" all sorts of things, but the AC47 didn't arrive until 1965 and the weapons onboard the AC47 were rifle caliber MG's and they are not going to "blow the hell out of" any tanks, even WWII tanks.

AC47 is not an AC-130 with 105mm big gun and 20mm gatling. -1 because I would like to have more WW2 planes before vietnam war era planes.

-1 to this idea.

Keep it to Korean War and WWII. We dont need any aircraft from Vietnam. The game was intended for WWII, NOT Vietnam. Keep it that way.

EDIT: I just like to add, if this was made. People will start asking for F4E Phantoms. And other jets, Heck even helicopters. Which are out of the question.

Well certainly jets are out of the question totally because they would outmatch any aircraft by far but the ac47 is just a modified c47 with a few guns and it isnt really anything to powerful.
